Applications for NC2 N2 Systems
Applications for NC2 N2 systems include chemical, methanol, and product tankers of various sizes.
Nitrogen in these systems is typically used for cargo tank gas freeing, acting as a full inert gas system. Uses also include purging and stripping of cargo lines, as well as "topping up" mode, where the system maintains pressure balance when a decrease in nitrogen pressure is detected.
